I am a professional designer with a successful career in Children’s Publishing for over 20 years. I starting my career at Usborne and working for many years at Parragon Books in Bath.

Imaginative design and illustration is my passion and I strive to ensure my work
is always contemporary, engaging and has strong market appeal.

I have strong planning, communication and creative skills which ensures that
my work is always delivered on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

My work in children's design has included picture books, novelty books,
reference books, puzzle and activity books. I have extensive experience

in developing brands, logos and stories.

​

My experience and expertise includes sketching concept layouts, briefing and
commissioning artists, sourcing photos, project management, creative direction,
designing, illustrating, directing photo shoots and translating to other products
e.g. boxed sets, tins and other merchandise.

I have worked on many license brands including Disney, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Monster High
and Hasbro. For the UK high street I have great experience in making bespoke cover designs,
for customers such as M&S, Tesco,  Sainsbury's, WH Smiths and numerous others.
